NO HONEYMOON is a docufiction that tells our story as an artist couple in a marital crisis, which will possibly lead to our divorce. In 2018, without being romantically involved, Anyuta and Kim, married in Ghent City Hall to obtain a residence permit for Anyuta, and to create a sustainable life community this way. Eventually, Anyuta became a Belgian citizin in June 2023. Ironically, the durability of our relationship began to crumble from that point on. Through couple's therapy we try to relate to the complex realities in which we move. By embracing uncertainty we try to re-think our future, present and past, shaped by revocing normative constructs.
